I've always been a fan of Al since watching 'The Shinning' and wondering who sang the track at the end of the movie. Since then got lots of tracks from him from itunes.
Awesome voice and presence and what a loss because of the Blitz.
RIP Al

You are right. In the version I got there is a short conversation between Peacock and the customer. Still, very enjoyable.

I've been saying that for years! It would have been a perfect opportunity/idea for one of the Christmas specials. What a shame that they never did one. It is not like they did not have enough material, what with is being said on all other episodes. Still, leave it to imagination.

Fantastic video! 'La Mer' is one of my favorite songs of all time and there is hardly a more suited one for this. I love the way the relaxing music combines with the 'violence' of the jet blast. Shame that it does not include the whole song, which builds up to an explosive finale, just as the air...

Awesome! These tracks always sound better (more realistic) with some background scratches. I'd heard many tracks from Al but never this one. Thanks.
