If it were not for science, you would not be here now.

Religion and superstition are the same; some superstitions withered into the books of folklore and history as knowledge and scientific understanding advanced. Unfortunately, some superstitious beliefs (Judeo-Christian-Islamic) gained large popularity and has managed to brainwash people for thousands of years, lasting well into the twenty-first century. We must do our very best to dissuade people from clinging to such deleterious beliefs, otherwise they will ultimately result in the retrogression of human development.

Skeptical scientist and atheist.

I strongly advocate separation of church and state, promoting education - especially in science and engineering - equality for women and minorities, gay, lesbian, transgender and same-sex marriage rights. Keeping religion out of public schools, national healthcare and other progressive liberal ideology.
