Very clear video, and easy to understand.
If the knot is tied on the middle of a cord, I suppose the two ends will make the rest of the bracelet. How would you make the loop on the other end of the bracelet, to be used with the button knot? If the bracelet was of just one color, I suppose you co...

Is that a tubular fid or a knitting needle? I have always wondered how do they keep the cord attached if don´t seem to have a clasp, cap, or something else so the cord doesn´t get out just as easily as it gets in.

Yes, what is the name of the knot, Kevin? Is it some kind of diamond knot or a turkshead? If the second, that would be the first I get to make because I have avoided them so far.

Very good video. It also shows a way to make a two color survival bracelet with no buckles that adds about 8-10 inches to both cords instead of using them just to make the core. It is almost unnoticeable at the loop. Way to go.

I did this cross but ended with a lot of cord wasted, and finally came with the cord lenghts to waste the less possible cord while still being able to tie the diamond knots tight, and the way to arrange them.

Great video! The square crown sinnet with a twist!
Just a doubt, is not the diamond knot supposed to be a crown knot, then a wall knot and THEN tucking the ends inside the knot eye? Or is this another knot with the same name?
I would also very much prefer the descriptions included inside the vid...

@rickthenailer
I have also thought about melting two cords togheter one inside the other and let the union at the middle of the core so it will be tucked (ie: hided) inside the weave, but don´t know if that arrangement would be strong enough. So what do you think? These bracelets would be for sa...

But I have not found a neat and strong way of making a two colored bracelet with buckles. I have made them just tying an underhand knot at the end of each cord, but that´s a little awquard and only works in adjustable buckles. Have tried the two cow hitches like yours here, but with short ends, t...

How to Make a Solomon Bar by TIAT
Also called a Cobra Stitch and a Portuguese Sinnet, the Solomon Bar is used as a military cord and pervasively by hemp necklace and bracelet weavers.
After several bracelets I must admit that the singe technique is strong enough to keep the cords in place, as any tension is made on the core cords and not in the weave cords. So I was wrong.

Excellent video! Always have made clear instructions.
The only issue I have with this solomon bar/cobra stitch is the way to finish it. Just snipping the ends short and burning them does´nt seem to do a lot to keep them from untying, but everybody does it and have not seen other way to finish t...

Eso de instantáneo es relativo, pero sí funciona mejor que sólo poner en hielo. Maybe you should use a skewer like the recipe says, and try to pull them around instead of pushing. That is the way Japanesse make takoyaki, morer or less the same but a little smaller, savory and filled with octopuss. This pan should be i...

If the front sights got damaged what can you do? From the video they seem too fragile and mounted directly over the body of the pistol instead of some rail or base, so they seem to be unreplaceable.
