Wow, I need to do some updating here. But anyway... let me just mention that I listen to an uncommonly witty and lively talk show I suspect you might find interesting (air time is 2pm-7pm M-F) which digs up our City, County and State dirty laundry for our concerned Californians tax payer listening audience and hangs it out for challenging in fresh air and the light of day. They also get into many of the more poignant news controversies, applying their entertainingly vigerous, informative and enlightening slant.
As you may have heard, our state is currently operating billions of dollars in the red. That is because, unfortunately, the majority of our local and state politicians are "liars, whores and thieves" when it comes to performing their duties and squandering our tax dollars (if you were to have a look at them, you might better understand). They've grown fat, lazy and greedy polishing their stealthy scams for extorting ever increasing tax revenues from our pockets and redirecting those entitlements for their own profit, travel and entertainment.
This while the average citizen has virtually no input as to what actually goes on (we elect them, then they pretty much do as they please).
This radio show broadcasts from Los Angeles to the greater So.Cal. area, recently growing to add the San Francisco bay area as well. We have been able to organize enough listeners to wrestle several issues back around. Upon processing a formal recall of one of our more disgraceful state assemblymen, we forced his voluntary resignation. You could say "we got their attention" big time, and that is - at least - a step in the right direction!
