We feature, highlights of great live concerts,
captured moments of great inspiration during a performance and completely wacky shorttakes of events surrounding playing guitar.
Born and raised in Cali, Colombia. I currently live and teach in Las Vegas, NV.
I studied in Peabody, and the North Carolina School of the Arts with Aaron Shearer. I received my Masters degree and was awarded a Doctoral Fellowship at Florida State University where I studied with Bruce Holzman. I competed and won many international events, including the 1987 Guitar Foundation of America and The 1990 Alirio Diaz Competition. I record with many labels, as well as produce and edit my own projects. I am an experienced teacher and have many students ranging in ages from 14 to 65. My guitars were made by the late and great Thomas Humphrey.
