Each one of these instructional videos is in response to specific questions that were asked after I posted several Steel Guitar Instrumentals.

TUFF FUN TAB is a steel guitar tutorial by Herb Remington and myself. It has 12 songs with Herb's hand-written tab plus a CD with 2 versions of each song - one with Herb playing the steel part and one with just the backup track. The backup tracks consist of Acoustic Guitars, Ukulele and Fender Bass.
Song Of The Island is one of the songs on TFT.

I would highly recommend TUFF FUN TAB to anyone who plays Steel Guitar and would like to improve their technique.

There are also a number of performance videos here - some of them are from live shows I played in and around South Florida, and some of them are from the Steel Guitar Shows I have performed at around the country - TSGA in Dallas, ISGC in St Louis, HSGA in Joliet IL etc.
Many excellent Steel Guitar players and other fine musicians are featured in these performance videos.

I play a little bottleneck slide guitar but nothing like the quality which you can do! Thanks for so many nice videos with great angles of your playing.

I really like your playing.I just love steels anyway.They just do something to me.When you know how to play like you do ,you can make them talk to you and that does have an affect to the listeners. 	billfishoc (1 year ago) Hello Rick, I want to thank you for posting all the great steel music on this site. I wasn't able to make it to the HSGA event this year but thanks to you I am able to view many of the performances. I've been hacking away at the non-pedal steel for a while, D-8 Stringmaster. I enjoy your instructional materials, plus I'm working on the Tuff Tab songs. No one in my immediate area plays non pedal Hawaiian steel so keep up the good work. I'll keep plodding on in my never ending quest to get better at this challenging instrument.
