I feel like relaxing the tempo (not playing slower, just relaxing) would benefit this performance - especially in some of the more lyrical passages. But it's good, definitely good.

I agree, it's sort of a strange mix. But a solid performance, for sure. As usual, the Concertgebow really makes it happen.

This is splendid! The soloists both play with a "take no prisoners" approach that really works in this piece. They seem to communicate and be well-suited to each other.

Definitely a solid performance at the highest level of professionalism but I'm not as moved as I have been by one or two others, at least in terms of this segment. I really dug Anna Larson.
