Mr Ron Barrett himself gives us the guided tour of all things Barrett. In detail we check out the M98, MRAD, and M107A1 rifles. Insight to this great American success story ensues. Ron did what nobody else had and persevered in educating the military and civilian shooter on his products' capabilities. Be a ground troop in Afghanistan using the M107 and you too will be a believer. These American made guns are very expensive but they deliver and they do it day after day under harsh battlefield conditions. Barrett light fifties continue to provide the military with man portable capabilities that other weapon systems can't at this weight level. They've saved lives. Their M98 and MRAD are accurate, ergonomic, and in the ball park for weight for their .416 and .338 Lapua capabilities. The MRAD is especially attractive to me with its engineering improvements, weather proofness, and cool FDE coloration. We walked away impressed with Barrett, both the man and the company, in this touchstone TNP video. /////////////////////Music: Jason Shaw

Maybe you're into CZ pistols, maybe not but chances are you will find this discussion interesting. These are my favorite type of booth reviews at SHOT: detailed information and discussion with a technical and passionate expert in the stuff we love. It's hard to find folks like that in the annoyingly busy SHOT atmosphere but sometimes I can and magic happens. This is one of those TNP videos. And if you've ever considered ordering a Custom Shop CZ pistol, this vid will provide direction and welcome details on perhaps some confusing variations. Luckily we have a great host steering us along. Meet CZ Pro shooter Angus Hobdell. He's a winning competitor and Captain of CZ USA Shooting Team. And even more interesting to me, he heads up the CZ-USA Custom Shop in Mesa, Arizona. Like all great pistoleros, he has preferences and he explains them in entertaining and funny fashion at times (great job Angus!). He and his team work the steel, angles, triggers, and sights of the production CZs to create masterpieces of function and speed. We look and discuss these in detail. Such work doesn't come cheap nor can it as this US produced custom guns take lots of hours to create. And yet what emerges is something that we can own, collect, and shoot with pride, keeping up with or even dominating the best handgun designs in the world.

"very cool. were having a really mild winter here in the southeast uk, so don't know if maybe we'll get a late snow around jan/feb as sometimes occurs. wondering if the roof will need de-snowing at some point. might be cool to see a vid on that: what's the wranglerstar opinion on that?"
