love this horse think she's real class, though i suspect her best distance may well be a mile, you could see her stride shortening at the end

@GBeret83 they wont extend it, they only cut the distance 7 years ago.... personally i think a 10 furlong group one for three year olds is good for the pattern, plenty of horses dont get the mile and a half so early in their classic year so this is a good target for them.... also mosse is a geniu...

@GBeret83.... blue bunting stayed in newmarket, rather that going half way across the world to spend christmas in the desert, hence the fantastic season.... I just can't see moving young horses to such a different enviroment being beneficial to their mental and physical development.... don't know...

good race, some sweet stayers around in 2009. would love to find a video of the cadran, if i remember rightly alandi wins in a very tight tight finsih with yeats and my personal favourite kasbah bliss....

@thepoacher2010 imo don't think cliffs was unlucky in this race, makfi may have gone first but he maintained the distance all the way to the line, cliffs certainly wasn't cutting into his lead with every stride..... also makfi's only bad races came at ascot.... maybe he just didn't like the cours...

i know times aren't all that but on the same ground, good to firm, he's nearly a second and a half quicker that frankel.... you've got to think that if they were both in this race, and kinane hadn't used the horse up trying to follow frankel's crazy early pace that he'd have got to the 'freak' o...

@GoldenOakFarm .... she also lost her first three races in '08.... beasted by the phenom Zarkava, Goldikova's great but she couldn't get within two lengths of Zarkava in the Pouliches over a mile!

he may have only had a short career on the track, but his love juice has been providing much joy and quick horses, for many generations... much appreciated
