About this user
Hello and welcome to my world where the streets are paved with pop music and gold, the sky is the limit and the imagination has no boundaries. I'm currently living in Wimbledon in south west London and work in central London. I've lived in a number of places around England throughout my life including Portsmouth, Weymouth, Nottingham and Cambridge, but hey, it's a big wide world out there and I still have a lot of exploring to do! I love the buzz and the pace of cool cosmopolitan cities. I find endless inspiration in all the art, music, theatre, beautiful souls and interesting people that they have to offer. I love discovering new places, new cultures, new people, and new ideas. I believe, as Helen Keller once noted, that "character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through emotional experiences of trial and tribulation can the soul be strengthened". I love finding true connections with people and having one--to--ones over a few drinks talking about everything and nothing! My sense of humour can be quite dry or just really random and silly, and I love people who make me laugh or have a similar sense of humour. I love randomness and quite often I like to just seize the moment and do things on a whim. I do tend to have an over romanticised view of life, which can often be my downfall as my expectations are sometimes too high, but then again, I always have been a bit of an idealist. I love learning and I like to be challenged and I feel that I still have so much to learn and experince. I love music and it plays a big part in my life. I do honestly believe music is the most expressive art form. It is an expression of humanity, it is something we are all touched by no matter what culture we come from. I try to go to gigs or see live music as often as possible and I love trawling the London toilet circuit and stumbling across new up and coming bands. I love going to cool underground electro clubs or grubby little indie dives which play a cool mixture of music and are full of beautiful and interesting people from all walks of life. Since there is no such thing as "alternative" or "indie" culture anymore I am always trying to find new underground artists, bands, musicians, clubs etc. that are pushing the boundaries of popular culture and opening the doors for new ideas. I am always looking for the next thing that is going to inspire me. It can be something a simple as music or something as life changing as meeting new people or moving to a new place. I may not always have my feet firmly on the ground and my mind may be all over the place sometimes, but hey, that's me and I love being me!
