About Lincoln Towncar and Limousine repair pictures
Lincoln Towncar ford emergency fuel pump. Avoid towing fees. When most of these pumps fail they do not fail electrically. They fail in the pump section and they still pump enough to feed an auxillary pump under the hood. I have used my emergency pump for days on several different limos and had no problems yet. I tie or tape the pump to the air conditioning return line and connect it to the intake on the fuel rail. It maintains 60 psi at the fuel rail. If your intank pump is good but has no power to it the emegency pump can not draw gas through it.
An alarm situation or antitheft situation will cut the power to the intank pump.
