	CautelousOne (6 days ago) Big fan of drummers .. I'm interested to know what Brand/ Weight/ Wood/ Tune of sticks you prefer ... I was wondering about what kind of hand skills might be needed for drumming and (as an experiment) I bought a couple sets of rb 7A maple. I have NO training, next to no skills, but I can almost 'see' the beat to a song ... Even Metallica where Lars is all over the place. There was a Big Stick song where the drums ran 8/4 time and the song was 4/4 ... I don't think a whole lot of people caught on to what was going on in that one .. I heard remarks like "Dude, the song writer has a stutter." They couldn't see the roots of the tree. LOL Any tips for an enthusiastic newbie ?
