This is a wonderful performance of Op.52 nr.3-and from memory too. I love the way you are not afraid to play the quiet sections slowly-these are often taken too quickly in my opinion. Please can we have the Fugue uploaded soon! Reger is still a misrepresented and misunderstood composer-his contr...

Many thanks for sharing this excellent performance of one of this master's very great works. I write with a sense of shame that one would rarely if ever see a choral work of Reger performed here in England.

What a huge sonority Ogdon had! Puts so many modern so-called pianists to shame. Huge thanks for allowing us to see this sheer wonder.

Many thanks for sharing this with us all. Mewton-Wood replaces Busoni's martellato passage-work divided between the hands with double octaves right at the end, I believe. This great pianist also recorded the Fantasia Contrappuntistica for the BBC-I heard it once but it has never seemed to make it...

Amazing to read comments from people who don't get Python. Don't like it? Bgr off then, and don't disturb the rest of us!
Masterpianist plays virtually unknown masterpiece, owned and played only by cognoscenti, uploaded by a visionary! Many thanks.
