The crash after the end of this 1963 PALM SPRINGS WEEKEND clip is interesting, in that Ty' s car is a 1957-58 Mercury while racing Bob Conrad's T-Bird but an older model Mercury after it's shown wrecked. I Love Lucy, especially at the right of frame at .23 to .25. She truly was young and beautiful in this film clip!

Lovely minor key song from one of Warner Brothers' big hit films: "Footlight Parade" in 1933. Along with companion films "42nd Street" and "Golddiggers of 1933" it made LOTS of money for all concerned.

Inncorrect comment below that Lucille Ball and Ann Sothern were in the chorus of this picture; Ann was a BIG STAR in her own films by 1933 and Lucille Ball worked for another studio at that time.

It's nice to see a slim Jack Oakie dancing up a storm with HK; his later films usually featured him at a heavier point in time.

I have the song on a DVD of the 1936 Frances Langford movie PALM SPRINGS, performed by Smith Ballew and a mounted cowboy chorus while ambling around the southern California desert. Absolutely beautiful song-
