Talk is cheap. Describing the world is not enough. Reflection without action is only verbalism. Action w/o reflection is merely activism. Theory w/o action is intellectualism. We need action, reflection, & theory: that's the praxis of social change! We need to change the world, for the better!

Here, you will reflect on theories as well as witness action and social practice. Learn & engage in a dialogue about philosophy, political economy, human rights, humanitarian law, social justice, peace related, interfaith dialogue, conflict resolution, international education, & inter-cultural theories & activities.

One-way lecturing is condescending. So, in order to empower and give voice to viewers, I always try to give room for critical reflection & dialogue. Please rate the videos & leave comments and questions, so that we can continue the dialogue. As a scholar, I present different theories: I don't necessarily agree or disagree w/ them.

l laughed when I read your taste in music--all genres except country--ME TOO. The same three chords strummed over and over accompanied by catawaling vocalists drawlin' the praises of "our Savior" Jesus Christ. If you could get Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, George Bush and Sarah Palin together as a counrty band, you'de have a 'rootin tootin' sure fire hit on your hands! Where's Simon Cawell when you need him?

Thankyou for the invite comrade. Just watched "Contending Views of the Role of People in History: Idealism & Materialism"--a precient Marxist effort in the service of dialetical materialism. I am battling with a bad case of ADD which dramatically reduces my ability to read, so this is a great channel for me as it gives me access to information which is thought provoking, interesting and above all inspiring in that it gives us the knowledge that guides our actions--lighting the path ahead of us, so we can recognize the obstacles that we will encounter for what they are and overcome them, while never for a second losing sight of the goal.

Countless thanks for your great work! Going to your channel is like a library and a classroom to me - an alternative kind of education which breeds humanity in a person through critical but objective and rational thinking.

i am really interested in your films on you tube but somehow they don't play completely. They stop within a minute of playing. I think what you posting is awesome, exactly what the world needs. Keep posting. I'll keep trying to watch them. Greetings from a fellow scholar of Australia.
