Jesus Christ is the only One who can bring true and real peace to the human heart.If you don't know Jesus Christ my friend, You can search for everything this world has to offer, But you'll never find real peace. You can try drugs or sex or materialism, But you still come up empty. The one thing that can bring true peace and true contentment, and that's a personal relationship with the God of the universe, through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. That's why the New Testament says, "And the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and mind through Christ Jesus." That's in Philippians 4:7 So you'll never have peace in your heart my friend until you have the Prince of Peace in your heart. He is the only One who can calm the storm and still the waves in your heart, And you can receive Him right now, if you like to, just by calling upon His Name. Romans 10:13 says, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Just pray and say,"Lord Jesus, I'm calling upon you right now, Just like your word says. I want that peace that passes all understanding to be in my heart Lord. I realize I'm a sinner. I'm sorry for the things, I've done wrong. I'm sorry for the mess, I've made of my life. But right now, I am receiving your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ as my Saviour and as my Messiah. Take me and use me for your glory Lord. In Your Name I pray, Amen."

You say, Rey, Is that really all it takes? Yup, that's all it takes. That sparks of faith, It's not joining a church, It's not being baptized, It's not giving your money, It's not going through a religious ritual, It's not being a member of a certain denomination. It's none of those things. It's a personal relationship with God through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. And the Bible says, He came so you could be save. " For God so loved the world, John says, that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life." If you just pray that prayer a moment ago, and you believe in God's only begotten Son, then the Bible says you now have eternal life.

Only one life, twill soon be past, Only whats done for Christ will truly last.

Psalm 23 " The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters.He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou annointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

This 23rd Psalm is the best known Psalm of all, for thousands of years, it has been a refreshing stream from which tired and weary pilgrims have quench their thirst., It is a source of relief for those who are burden, encouragement for those who are downtrodden, strength for those who are weak, direction for those who are lost, and rest for those who are weary. You see, this is a Psalm that speak to every need, no matter who you are, and no matter what you are going through, this Psalm is for you!

Psalm 23 is specifically for you, and for anyone who wants the Lord to be the shepherd of their life because it is so intensely personal. Notice the personal pronoun, ME, and I, and MY, and MINE, sprinkled through out this Psalm, I shall not want, He says, He maketh me, He leadeth me, He restoreth my soul, and so on, And you know what my friend, the same Lord who was David's shepherd, wants to have a personal relationship with you. He wants you to become one of God's elect. He wants to be your Messiah. He wants you to know that if your heart stops beating before this day is over, you will go directly into God's presence. Absent from the body, present with the Lord the Bible says. But you can only have that assurance if you have a personal relationship with God through the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible calls it, salvation, coming to know the Lord in a personal way, like David, that's why David could say,the Lord is my shepherd, and He can be your shepherd my friend. He can be your Saviour, and He can be your Messiah!

Let me show you the biblical definition of God's elect, it's in the very last chapter of the Bible, Revelation 22:17 " And the spirit and the bride say come, and let him that heareth say come, and let him that is athirst come, and whosoever will,let him take the water of life freely." That's the elect, three things, first they are hearing, second the elect are thirsting, and third they are willing. You see, if you are hearing me right now, and God has given you a spiritual thirst, and you are willing to come to Christ for salvation, then you are elect. That's how it works, but it's God's sovereign work in you. And you know why He's calling you right now, there's only one reason, it's not because how smart you are, or how much money you have, or how many degrees you have behind your name, or how good looking you are, or how hard working you are, or any of those things that we like to think enhance our standing on God. There's only one reason He's calling you for salvation my friend, and that is because He loves you. Just like He told the children of Israel, " The Lord did not set His love on you, nor choose you because you are more in number than any other people, for you are the least of all peoples, but because the Lord loves you," that's the answer, He loves you, because He loves you, no other reason, it's His sovereign choice to love you my friend,and if you're hearing right now, and you're thirsting, and you're willing, then you could be one of the elect, because whosoever HEARS, THIRST, and desire to come may come.

And when you respond in faith, and invite Him in, He comes into your life, and all things become new. You become a new creature, a new creation. It's the most wonderful experience, and the beginning of a life long journey that will lead you to heights you never dream of, so if He's calling you my friend, respond right now, just say yes Lord, I hear you , I'm thirsty, I'm ready to receive your Son as my Saviour and my Messiah.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and lean not on your own understanding,
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
and He shall direct your paths.
