This will probably get ignored by the lamestream media just like most any music that has an old time ring to it. Maybe if Georgette wore a shorter skirt, wrote trashier lyrics, and George would grab a cheap hat and swing across the stage this one might get some attention.

@daytonafuntim Right. I got it for my wife for Christmas from Amazon. We got to see George at this same venue in Knoxville a couple of years ago, and a few before that next door at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium. Both shows were amazing, and, I'd love to see him again.

I heard his music growing up and have seen him twice in concert, both times in Knoxville once, and once at this venue about 10 years ago and he still had the energy that this older concert shows. No one can touch his talent.

A throw back to real country music. No flying through the air, no exploding stages, no wife cheating/beating songs. What a concept for music.

Isn't if funny that at one time in America it was fine to laugh at or make fun or our enemies, and when the fighting was over everybody got over it. Now, if we make a comment about and enemy we get kicked by our enemies, liberals in our own country cry, and we are seen as the bad guys.

The sing off version of this song held these guys back. Had this full version with its showmanship taken them to the finals (assuming they got past the judges) this could have been the winner for them. And a quick question, what happened to the guys who won last year?

I had a chance to be on the coaching staff of one of the best middle school teams that I have ever seen. Tim has passed too quickly and some of our fine young men have gone on ahead of us. RIP Kevin, Steven, Nick, and Cody
