Este grupo brilha ao mostrar o samba como genuína expressão musical do povo brasileiro. Sensível e poético o grupo espelha as emoções e vibrações de nossa sociedade. Ao mostrar seu repertório de canções que são resultado de suas pesquisas musicais de repertório, também com composições próprias, mostrando diferentes ritmos e sua estreita relação com o samba: marchas, bossas, maxixes, choros, o r e v i s t a do samba e seus três componentes oferecem uma divertida e agradável jornada. Ao vivo e em seus albuns o r e v i s t a do samba cria atmosferas festivas, carnavalescas e de gafieiras, interpretando as canções de modo a criar uma ponte entre o passado, presente e futuro. De suas turnês, destacam-se as suas apresentações em grandes festivais na Europa, Estados Unidos, Oriente Médio, Ásia e África tais como APAP (Nova York EUA), Stimmen (Alemanha) Val Latina e Parque La Villete (França), Minta (Tel Aviv), World of Performing Arts Festival (Lahore-Paquistão) e festivais na Holanda, Alemanha, Noruega, Guadalupe, no Caribe, Áustria, Itália e recentemente em turnê no Marrocos, onde participou do Festival Mawazine, em Rabat e do Festival des Musiques du Désert, no deserto do Saara.
Based in São Paulo, r e v i s t a do samba was formed in 1999 and since then, the trio, with Letícia Coura, Beto Bianchi and Vitor da Trindade, is successfully performing around Brazil and abroad.
