German-born Katarina Stübe has photographed her way across four continents. In 2001 she relocated to Sydney to study architecture and photography, where Jørn Utzon's Sydney Opera House featured in the syllabus; sparking her interest and appreciation of the Danish architect. In March 2006, Katarina met the legendary Utzon who shared his stories and memories with her. Katarina and Utzons son Jan (also an architect) conceived this visual journey, through the eyes of its creator, and lovingly crafted a very special memory of photographs and anecdotes.
Interested in the confluence between culture, geography and communication, Katarina worked prior in the field of event and music management, utilizing her networking skills, communicating across countries and constantly extending her international network.
Since January 2009 this young creative visionary focussed on pursuing her own dream, setting the foundation for the release of her first book, self published through REVEALbooks. Katarina has organised all the international launch events as well as talks, signings and photographic exhibitions.
Jorn Utzon's Sydney Opera House, A tribute was launched in Sydney May 18th 2009.
