Richard Thomas was very much afraid of guest actor David Selby! Selby had previously been on the vampire soap Dark Shadows. He scared Thomas right into leaving the show. BTW get the great new bio All About Jeffrey Hunter at amazon to read how Hunter, like Thomas, was afraid of another Dark Shadows performer!

Hello.. i cant thank you enough for having uploaded all this ! Do I understand right that you will upload Season 2 in Nov and Dec 2009 from what it says here on the right side ? So is there a chance that we can watch Season 2 before and around christmas ?? That would be great !! My favorite show of all time. I often wish I was living in this era and I tell my 2 kids that I wish we had a house full just like the Waltons. I have family land in N.C. that I hope to build on someday. Maybe my kids will fill it with grandchidren
