Mainly I focus on retro gaming, reaching as far back to the Atari 2600, and possibly further. My definition of retro gaming encompasses all platforms that have officially been discontinued, although all new systems get a look in as well!

My earliest encounter with gaming at home was an ancient Pong clone, by Binatone, that I hope to track down! In the arcades, I can remember playing Atari's Indy 500 with my sister!

I live by the sea, in the sunny South East. However, I hail originally from South West London, and miss it a great deal. I have a wonderfully understanding lady in my life, who indulges this mad retro-gaming obsession of mine, as well as allocating far more house space to me than I deserve. We also have the 2 bratz, who are at that point of rapidly approaching the deep waters of adulthood, while looking longingly back at childhood!

The channel is just light hearted, with no major concerns. My only intolerance concerns the current drift towards 3D and motion control. Both of which I hope are passing fads!

Attended Wandsworth School, and some years later, University Of Liverpool (the proper one!). Still don't know what to do with my life, but that's what it's all about! Unfortunately, am now working as an "agent for the state". Mmmmm.......

Interests

Anything really, as long as I am learning something new, and not wasting time and energy on a futile task. I have given up TV, as a complete waste of time, and can no longer stomach the mainstream press churning out sanctimonious self serving bullshit 24h per day! But, it keeps the mass in a tranquil state; ignorance is truly the most comforting form of reality
