As a budding medievalist, I'm deep into the study of Old and Early-Middle English, both for literary and philological purposes. Yes, there WAS stuff written between Beowulf and Chaucer, and it is my academic hope to bring such fascinating texts out of obscurity and back into the general educational establishment.
