Salt Lake City's Rest 30 Records School of Music Instruction offers our students a unique vocabulary with which to express themselves, and a skill-set that will carry them through the rest of their lives.

Points of the program are:
1. All learning is accomplished through the use of all original teacher/student composed music performed and studied in the smallest groups possible, which means maximum attention to each student, and maximum focus on whatever skills need to be developed every moment. It is truly THE fast-track to music ability, application, and fun.
2. The direct application of the skills learned (usually in an artistic or personally-expressive capacity) is always our top priority, The method was developed in response to the fact that many people can play music, yet VERY few people know how to apply those skills regularly in their lives.
3. We maintain an incredibly heavy focus on music theory and reading skills, with which to compose and perform the original pieces. Multi-instrumentalism is a big part of that study.

To sum it up, our method focuses on:
Music Fluency (Theory, reading, and multi-intrumentalism).
Personal Espression.
Life-long musical fulfilment and joy as an artist, as a hobbyist, and as a technician.

Rates are 120$/month for four 45 minute weekly private lessons, plus public performances (we aim for one or two a month) after a body of work is developed (usually not for the first month or two). There is also an option to join a 3 piece group (one instructor, two students) for another 100$/month with an additional weekly hour long rehearsal, based on student progress and bandmate availability.
