This channel is to educate the general public about the importance of reptiles, especially snakes, to the world and its ecosystem.
About Me:

I love reptiles and amphibians. I am a future herpotologist, zoologist, and biologist. If you have any questions please do not wait to ask.

Reptiles and amphibians are so misunderstood. It sickens me to the core about how people wish death on them because they are different than us and have a different way of life.

My reptiles are:

2 Ball Pythons.
2 California Kingsnakes.
1 Het for anery, lavender, motely, ad maybe some others, Normal Cornsnake.

I have this channel to try and educate people about reptiles, but mainly snakes. These are wonderful creatures and do not deserve the reputation they have. Next to sharks, snakes are the most misunderstood creatures on the planet.

I love all animals, but my favorites are reptiles and amphibians, sharks, and big cats. I have 5 snakes, 2 dogs, and a cat.

Most snakes are not dangerous to people. In the US less than 10 people a year are killed by snakes out of thousands of bites. But, in other countries, such as India, and parts of southeast asia, snake bites kill up to 30,000 people a year. This is only because the areas the bites take place lack the technology to create antivenin. Projects are taking place right now to reduce the snake bite death toll in other countries, and they are working phenomanally.

Dogs bite over 2 million people in the US each year, and millions more world wide, and over 800,000 people are hospitalized, and 20 people actually die. If our friendly dog friends kill more people than snakes...why hate snakes? Falling coconuts also kill more people than snake bites.

Big cats need our help! Go too www.causeanuproar.org to help save big cats from extinction today!

Well, you'll find the people who dispute evolution are the ones that are misinformed about it. First of all, evolution isn't a theory. It's a fact. We can prove evolution. Replicate it. Quantify it. Observe it. The THEORY of evolution is the mechanism behind it, natural selection. Saying I don't believe in evolution is like saying I don't believe in oxygen. You can't see it. But its there.

A lot of people also dispute that humans came from monkeys. But that's NOT what evolution says either. But simply that we shared a common ancestor somewhere down the line. It's like saying you came from your aunt. No, but you share a common relative.

Sorry, my rant on those "non-believers" lol

But yea, i'm athiest, not because of bitterness or rudeness, but simpley because that makes since and can be backed by fact 100%. Being in a biological based profession, I base my opinions of science.

No problem. If you think about all the venomous families and individual species, how many do you think you could name? You have to remember that the Crotalus genus alone has around 28 species of rattlesnakes I think. Then you have sea snakes, Cobras, Inland Taipans, Coastal Taipans, Russell's Vipers, Boomslangs, Saw-scaled vipers, Bushmasters, Cottonmouths, Death Adders, Puff Adders, Gaboon Vipers, Rhino Vipers, and so many others.

Hey man, I just thought that I would tell you that there are over 600 species of venomous snakes not 200. About a quarter of all snakes are venomous. Just thought I would let you know.
