@terryc47 Since no one answered I will. No, beer will not burn it is mostly water and the bottle will most likely break if you tried to boil water in it. It could be used to store cooled, already boiled water.

I use 5000 degree engine paint from the discount auto store. I find that the BBQ High Temp paint does not hold up so well.

Talking about glasses. I noticed that when walking around in the light snow you did not have sunglasses on. I use polarized sunglasses to cut the suns glare reflecting off the snow. More important I guess when out on open snow or water.
