Why are you so interested in keeping private insurance companies Mr. Manzullo? Here is a personal example. My wife had neck pain and went to the Dr. After 10,000 dollars in medical bills which our insurance paid 80% - we where told she had arthritis in her neck. 10,000 dollars worth of tests to tell us that? There is your wasteful spending Mr. Manzullo. It amounted to a total of 3 visits and 4 or 5 hours. That is 2000 dollars an hour. Perhaps there are a lot of people that want to keep the status quo and the money flowing, but I say NO NO NO NO NO! You work for me too Mr. Manzullo, and I want you to work for the people and not the insurance companies. So I ask once more Don Manzullo, why do you care so much about insurance companies?

I'm sorry, but it seems to me it's a heck of a lot easier to sit there and pick apart a bill and give excuses, lies, and fear mongering. But why haven't the Republicans in either the House or the Senate come up with another bill? Is it maybe because they don't have any ideas for reform because they're too busy lining their pockets with the money from insurance companies or lobbyists? I have a one page stimulus plan that would really work. Please take time to hear this out and consider the result. Suppose every Registered voter were to receive $10,000 (a $2 trillion investment for the country) with the understanding that 1/2 would be applied to a mortgage, credit debt, or equity loan. They could specify which debt to be paid out of their share. $1 Trillion would go directly into the banking system, bailing it out. The other half could be used to maintain their mortgage, or supplement their income if they are out of work. The impact would be immediate and the money would be going to those who really deserve it and it wouldn't be a government intrusion into our free market system.

Dear Mr. Manzullo,
As I sit here watching congress fighting over whose fault this 175 million in bonuses should fall on, my stomach TURNS.
When I hear that there was a paragraph added to the bill for this bailout, this loop-hole that allowed those thieves to steal more of our tax dollars it amazes me that NOT ONE congress person brings up the fact that since it was added AFTER congress voted on the bill, that this insert is NOT LEGAL! Why do they keep fighting? It was NOT LEGAL!
Congress did not vote on the insert. If this is what our congress is coming to, why the heck should there be a congress? Why should there be a senate, why the heck should I even vote...when even the voices of our congress people don't count?
