Al Hirt Java
One of my favorite instrumental hits from the 60's The great Al hirt with "Java'.
i'd always heard the saxes but never realised there were two.......and their part makes me think 'bubble up, bubble up'...not sure how wide it was marketed but twas an imitator of 7up....btw grammy winner '62 for best instrumental...and finally i have this album

when i worked here in irvine at newport stationers, under the flightpath of john wayne/orange county airport, we had piped in music by 3M-if we had it on the instrumental channel you could set your watch by this album -some days they'd play one song per hour off of this..

my uncle was the store display person for JJ Newberry in southern california for most of his life---the record folk would give him LPs to display and let him keep them after he was done with the displays....this album was one of them, glad to say i borrrowed and taped it---in stereo!!
