Remy Drums

Remy was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. Having been playing the drums since age 12, he has developed a keen sense of timing, rhythm, and musicality. This, of course, was supplemented by the numerous, and diverse projects he has been able to be a part of since moving to L.A. in 2006 to study drums/percussion at the critically acclaimed Musician's Institute. During his time spent at school, Remy recorded his first full length album, and had several opportunities to experience the world of session drumming. After graduating with excellent marks, he continued on his chosen course. Playing at the Kodak Center's Level 3 Nightclub, recording numerous songs, playing hundreds of live shows, and even touring the entire Continental U.S.! Remy has performed and/or recorded with artists from all genre's of music from including jazz pianist Harve Mann, Metal Blade artist "We Are the End", rock/reggae group "Wildphyr", local hip-hip virtuoso "Def Sound", and most recently he has been involved with death-core heavy hitters "The Arcanum Effect". Remy is also a teacher of drums/percussion. Offering a focused, personalized, and most important of all, fun curriculum of study of modern drum styles. Remy has proven to be an unstoppable force, blazing a trail with his own unique style, ideas, and approach to both drumming, and musicianship alike.
