About this user

Relevant is a 23 year old spoken word artist/ actor with a WHOLE lot to say... Born in D'jibouti Africa and moved to Canada as a kid, he uses aspects of African life, as well as Western living in his poetry, hopefully in a way that everyone can relate. As a member of the 2010/2011 Toronto Poetry Slam Team, Relevant has competed both on the national and international stage, has featured at poetry slams across Canada and the United States, performed at schools and has read his unique style of poetry on Canadian radio. Currently is working as a motivational speaker spreading the notion of social advocacy through the arts through also facilitating spoken word workshops. When asked why he writes he replied, "All I want to do is to get you to think..."
