I heard that they were initially going to cast Jim Carrey or Steve Carell for the role, I could totally see Steve Carell pulling this off; subtle humor with a serious subject is his forte.

And I'm not really a prude, I can watch the SAW movies easily, also found "I Spit On Your Grave" watchable, but I'm not sure about this one.

All I have to say is this is the best vampire romance/thriller/ suspense movie i've seen in a long time. I don't think it was really a horror but I guess I can see why they'd call it that.

I've also read 200 reviews on the movie. I just became so intrigued with his story since everyone was talking about it, so i had to look it up myself, but then i became so connected I had to watch more, and learn more. Ugh i'm so mad at myself. I hope i can enjoy this movie.
