"Reiki Kendra" founded and established by Dr. Amar Kumar in 1998, is one of the oldest "Reiki Training and Treatment Centre" in the country duly registered with Govt. of West Bengal and Govt. Of India, located in Alipore in Kolkata - a prime location and easy to reach.

Thousands of people have benefitted from learning Reiki here in its purest form. Reiki Kendra's mission is to make Reiki available to people in its purest and traditional form and it has been organising training workshops in various parts of the country and abroad with Dr Amar Kumar as course conductor. In last so many years Reiki has been introduced by him in places like Malda, Burdwan, Chandannagore, Durgapur, Chakdah, Binnaguri, Gwalior etc. Workshops are also held in Mumbai, Delhi, Jamshedpur, Patna etc.

Reiki was also introduced for first time in Malaysia, Africa etc.

Reiki Kendra is also initiating action for covering corporate world for equipping executives with Reiki as a tool for managing their stressful lives.

Dr. Amar Kumar is a well known Traditional Reiki Master Teacher (highest level attainable in Reiki, equivalent to Grand Master) and is a registered medical practitioner with Indian Board of Alternate Medicine.
