The idea for this video actually came to me after a friend of mine came back from NYC.
I began thinking what it would be like to go again (This wasn't my first time.) and how things there compared to things where I'm from.
I then began thinking about what kind of video would I make out of it. This is what I came up with. And it came out so much better than I could ever imagined.
It's also marks my first and truly major collaboration with my dear friend, Filteany.
So much thanks goes out to Hazel and her director for all their assistance.
www.youtube.com/filteany www.filteany.com
I wish I could've gone to more places and maybe really complete the whole experience, but there could never be enough time for that.
Next time, New York... next time.
NOTES: - The Telectroscope was only a temporary exhibit in New York, but I had to go see it while I was there. So it's part of this video.
- Who in the world goes to Toys 'R' Us when in the City that Never Sleeps, you ask? That would be me. It's not like your ordinary TRU anyway by any means.
- Gotta forgive the crazy hair and the sweat. The East Coast was going through a record-breaking heat wave that weekend. Couldn't be helped.
- All the New York footage used in this video was shot by me, Filteany, or her director on that weekend (including the airplane footage).

Although my last video was very "happy," this one may be a little bit sad. Still, it was yet another labor of love, and I strive to present the bright side of a very deep and personal part of my life.
June 22nd, 2008 would have been my cousin Jeff's 20th birthday. Unfortunately, his life was cut short between the tragedy at Virginia Tech (to which he attended) and his 19th birthday.
I wanted to do yet another video in commemoration of this very sweet and caring person who was just taken too soon.
The pictures in this video are of the people he cared about most in his life: his family (both sides), his friends and his classmates. These pictures represent many of the wonderful times he had in his life and how blessed we all were to have had him in our lives.
These pictures were either provided to me by his father or were on the very first video memorial to him.
Special thanks to Chinaeyes22 for the assistance in developing the concepts for this particular sideshow.
But I would also like to give special thanks to JanaMVerdes for keeping Jeff's memory alive with her special song to him on the first anniversary of the Virginia Tech tragedy.
Please see her video to him and my original video tribute.

Here is the trailer that I've spent months to complete. I figured 09-08-07 would be an appropriate time to release a movie that featured time bombs.
All the shots were original. I also did all of the visual effects, compositing, and motion graphics.
I used Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, and Particle Illusion for the effects and graphics.
I used several songs from various artists, specifically Rage Against the Machine and Saliva. Thanks to them for providing what would've been a great soundtrack for this movie. Also thanks to the creators of the Batman Begins soundtrack.
Lastly, thanks to Samurye72, for not just starring in another of my projects, but for helping produce it as well.
Enjoy. There will be more in the coming weeks.
Sorry no full length feature film though.

I wasn't planning on releasing this video for a while, but I wanted to start off 2008 with a bang. (Yes, that pun was intended!)
Here are the clips from my Down to the Wire project, set to "Boom, Shake the Room" by DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince. (He wasn't called Will Smith at that point.)
Anyway, it was an appropriate song for my action movie about a mad bomber, and I wanted to do something a little fun for my fans.
If you haven't seen my original trailer, click the following link.

Enjoy! Feel free to share, favorite, comment, and most of all subscribe! I have a lot more in store for this year.

This one's for all my fans... a very small, er, I mean "elite," group. This is one of those typical commercials that you see after a movie's been out for a while.
In this case, it's for my "Down to the Wire" trailer, posted way back on 09-08-07. This commercial is comprised completely of ACTUAL COMMENTS posted to that trailer. (And YES, HappySlip really did comment on it!)
You can see the trailer and actual comments here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Li9_pCmbmcE
I also included "reviews" that I received through regular e-mails and through MySpace.

This is a short animation into the world of HappySlip videos.
Originally, this was going to be an entry into HappySlip's Exposed Contest, but I knew I could never do all that I wanted to do within the short amount of time given.
Still, I wish the best of luck to everyone who poured their hearts out to do their own video. This is ME pouring my heart out for mine.
It took well over a month to complete these 2 minutes and 15 seconds. Still, I enjoyed the process and am happy with the end result.
The models were created in Maya. Editing, effects and compositing of Christine's characters were done in Adobe After Effects. The end theme music was created using MTV's Music Generator.
This is actually not the original idea I had with the 3D character. I will eventually try to complete that in the upcoming months.
Check out my original dedication to Christine among my other videos. You'll see where some of the composited shots came from.
And watch it in high-quality to really appreciate it!

For my 25th video on YouTube, I've created something very special: a tribute to HappySlip.
For my 25th video on YouTube, I've created something very special: a tribute to HappySlip.
I created this video for her because, even from her very first vlog, I felt we shared a lot of common traits and experiences in life.
The music is Aerosmith's "Deuces Are Wild." (Pay attention to the lyrics as they actually help guide the visuals.)
Christine has simply been, and continues to be, a wonderful inspiration... not just to those of us in America or the Philippines, but all over the world.
I wish her the best in the future, and I know she will only do good with her continued success.
Thanks for watching. Feel free to share, comment, and add to favorites.
And if you like what you've seen, check out my other videos as well.
And if you would like to see even more, please subscribe, because there's much more in store for RegiSor94.

This is something a little different for my channel.
I really enjoyed Jana and Jasmine's acapella rendition of "Nothing Lasts Forever" and I wondered how it compared to the original Maroon 5 song.
Playing them together, I discovered how well they blended. So I took both, and after a few tweaks here and there to the timing (all while maintaining their pitch), and I put this little video response together.
Just a little something for Jana. She's a friend of my family, while I'm a fan of her family.
Enjoy.
