Been a Chicagoan & a Cubs Fan since day one! Growing up on the Northwest Side engrains Cubby Blue into you. Attending Queens of All Saints in the 80's is when Dad took us to the Bleachers for the first time! I can still smell the dogs, the sound of Ronnie Woo Woo patrolling the stadium and gaining my Cubdome Education from the fans. Bill Veck sat behind us! I'll never forget seeing his wooden leg and a smile. " Hey kid! Lemme see that mit!" After signing it, I played with it all the time! He was at every game I was at. Since then, it's always like coming home evertime I go to a game. Now I bring friends who have never been to Wrigley & love the Cubs. It's always the same result. A pause at the top of the steps, a teary eye & a turn of the head. "Thanks again for the ticket!" Go Cubs GO!
