@downfan1 This song has been used in a number of movies. They also recorded a few different versions of this song. The one I think you are thinking of has female backing singers doing the 'gimme gimme...'. It also has different lyrics in the second verse, maybe others.

Best part about music from the 60's is it seems new to people that burned out a few too many brain cells that "experienced" the 60's. This song still sounds fresh.

Kick ass from the first note. This is what every band tried to sound like in the 70's. In the 90's this is what most bands could only dream that they sounded like. The guitars sound like if they are played any harder they'll catch on fire. Way cool.

This song was essentially my introduction to Jazz. I've been told I developed late onset Jazz disease. If that's so I don't want the cure. Stevie's voice just floats along like smoke in an old Jazz club. Great sax playing.

If CCR and Allman Brothers were not related they grew up together. At least that's how their music feels. IMHO.

What I love about Winwood is his live performances just float like a feather. It's like he just showed up for a jam session. But how often do get to hear a jam session with 2 living legends and a bunch of other great musicians.

It says in the title the recording is by Them, which featured Van Morrison. He did sound a little like Jagger back in the 60's and 70's. By the way, the song was written by Bob Dylan.

Song just drips of cool. Almost 40 years old and still sounds fresh. Basically saying, yea I know this isn't good for me but she is so great I don't care.
