@GuitarRock6, It would do these stlyes ok...It def gets a marhall type crunch and can get quite high gain, but on the other hand it doesn't do scooped mids which would be more suitable for high gain 80's glam rock/rock.

@stefinothrashcore, yes it should work with any passive or active pickup as far as im aware. It is just a very small preamp that mounts under the pickguard with a switch to turn it on/off. In theory it should work with any pickup.
