I mean your argument is literally, we shouldn't give President Obama credit for the GDP growth, because it was the result of government programs he was responsible for, e.g., Reinvestment and Recovery Act and Cash for Clunkers. That is fundamentally irrational. I've been to listening to conservatives for over a year now prophesize about doom and gloom and how the country is going to rip apart and all I see is GDP growth, stock market growth, and unemployment a full percent lower than Reagan. Meanwhile, predator drones are kicking ass in Pakistan and American citizens haven't been killed by Terrorists.

So to the question should we give Obama credit for 3.5% GDP growth in the third quarter you say "no way" because "Automobile sales had a temporary surge due to the Cash for Clunkers program." Seems to me that if one of the facts I left out about why the increase occurred was a program that came about as an idea of the president, where the presidnet pushed the senate to add even more money, where the president signed the bill and where a Presidential Cabinet Agency, Department of Transportation, (head by a (R) ironically) implemented the bill would be PRECISELY a reason to give the President credit rather than take it away. But hey, I'm a kool aid drinking libtard. But, I just can't understand if Cash for Clunkers is the one reason, you mention, why GDP grew, why shouldn't credit go to the person who created and implemented that program.
