About this user

100% lesbian and all the way out. Artist and instigator of adventures!!!

I create art as a way of connecting with my spirit and bringing forth the world from behind my cage of bones. My works are animated with mood-setting colors. A sense of movement is created through acrylic paint texturing and the use of out-of-the-ordinary materials and surface. Ultimately, the work is a visual poem with each title to the work a springboard for the viewer's imagination.

I grew up in a small farming town in West Virginia. In my Irish/Cherokee clan I heard stories of giants who slept under the hills, elves who rode on the backs of turtles and sparrows; stories of the wee folk, ghost horses, wild pony people and more. These stories filled my mind with amazing images. Add to this my passion for drawing at a young age and my path was placed before me. At age four I called myself an artist. I roamed the Giant-hills and wild pony people woods as a child and teenager until I left them for college and a life of traveling and living in other countries. From working in homeless and domestic violence shelters to holding an art class in a sheep pasture in Ireland, I've helped others explore their own creative spirits and unearth their personal myths through art.

Love teaching others how to create and unleash themselves from stuck lives.
