@Intechdude300 Guess on the rear ac models you can either mod the Silverado console to house the ac control, or just leave the Tahoe one and deal with the gap. If GM just used quality plastic people wouldn't have to swap dashes. It's a shame too, because I really like the look of the Tahoe dash.

@weselskunk I totally agree with you. Where I live the CV axels on this front wheel drive junk would be wore out by time it got to my driveway. On my back country roads if it doesn't have good ground clearance and 4x4, it ain't making it back.

The old explorer had a v8 and were rear wheel drive. The new explorers no longer offer a v8, and are fail wheel drive(FWD)

Yeah, but it's front wheel drive based 4wd. This thing sucks. No V8 option, and it doesn't even have a frame anymore. The whole point of buying a suv is for utility, and Ford took that away with the 2011. This is just a oversized Ford Taurus now.

The only real American suvs left is the Suburban, Tahoe, Expedition, Grand Cherokee, and the Durango. The rest are just front wheel drive crossover garbage. leadnsteel you are right, they started to suck then, but at least they were still body on frame, rwd, and had a v8 option.
