About this user

Another update on life. Well, the name is James Lagman. I'm now on my third year of college at LACC majoring in Cinema. I'm taking Motion Picture Grip and Soundstage Practicum. Both of these classes will teach me about the grip department in movies and as well as becoming a sound person on a live set. They won't have videos until the editors of our class post it.

You may see my new videos with LARP Productions. What is LARP Productions you ask? Well LARP is a reference to my first major video project that was made during my last year of High School. It was a pretty mediocre project that was not complete. LARP simply means Live Action Role Playing in which is the acting style of most of my characters in my films. You can say that I'm a character actor.

LARP Productions consists of myself. I hire friends to act in a couple of my films but usually I do everything myself. Storyboards, Script, Lighting, Editing, Cinematography. You name it. On rare occasions I would hire actors to be a part of the film as well but only when I am assigned.

My major goal in the business is to be an editor. I'm working hard to achieve that goal. I'm very good with iMovie. *UPDATE* Now that I have Final Cut Pro, I'm currently trying to learn how to use it. Will take some time, but I promise that my future films will be done with this from now on.

Anyways that's it about me.
