@SneakyRussian Russia does not make AK47's for regualar army since 70's. They use AK74 which has a different round 5.45mm compared to 47's which fires 7.62mm. This makes AK74 much more accurate due to smaller round with less recoil plus it keeps deadlness of AK47.

M76 is excellent squad marksman sniper. Been used extensively in balkan wars but it is not a "specialist" sniper weapon. Zastava makes specialsied snipers for purebred sniper requirements. This weapon packs a heavy punch and i've seen it end life at 800m.
