I leave the rest of what you do in your hands now. I can't do it alone. I can only help fight back against CorporateTube if there are many people voicing their opinions loud and clear.

I just got forced into the new channels. There's STILL bugs and glitches running about this new design, so YouTube, why didn't you take care of ALL of them before making a FULL release of this? Plus, no one likes to be forced. Failure to learn what a good business is in the future will certainly make your site shut down. You SERIOUSLY can't find another way to save bandwidth? COME ON! I can think of a DOZEN ways!
1. Get rid of the bandwidth wasters (partners)
2. Get rid of 2GB upload limit and replace it with 500MB or something. (Again, only bandwidth wasters NEED 2GB)
3. If you don't have enough money to run this site, then make it so that people have to pay to upload above 500MB.
And finally:
4. Fire all of your staff and start fresh with a new one, because CLEARLY NONE of you know how to run your site well. The YouTube store and the promoted videos section should be providing you with MORE THAN ENOUGH money to run this site.

Even a FLY could run this site better than YouTube has lately. The only reason YouTube is not making enough money is because they choose to waste it on stupid crap like a 2GB uploader. That right there costs a LOT of money to keep running. For a billion users, and it is $10 per gigabyte, totaling to $20 per user, then that would be $20 billion right there wasted! Maybe even more if there's more users. Now let's say they decided to stick to a 500MB plan. that would bring the cost down to $5 per user and that would mean only $5 billion would be spent. See what kind of a difference that would make? With just that, they would be saving $15 billion, but no. As Mr. Black and I have stated before, YouTube has no clue how to run their business properly.

Also, let's take into account the bandwidth wasters, the partners. They can upload to 20GB right now. That would be $200 a partner. If there were 100,000 partners out there, then that would mean that it averages out to $20 million, and that's just from 100,000. Bring their limit down, too, and then THAT right there would have saved them $15,985,000,000. This is EXACTLY what type of poor business this is! No GOOD business goes against the will of the customer.

Soon YouTube is going to make users start to pay for this site, since they're stupid enough to not figure this out yet! THAT will be the day YouTube dies. A recent study says that websites that switch over to a pay module when it was originally free says that 90% of the customers leave for some other site.

So I am just saying my farewells to YouTube early, before it becomes ALL corporate.
