Ecogear brand of apparel is the most earth friendly clothing in the world.

Founded in 2006 by a 20 year veteran of the Canadian textile industry, the company set itself high standards intentionally. To come up with a garment that would produce the lightest possible footstep.After a years research and development, the ecogear clothing brand was finally launched and immediately made waves in the industry. In declaring itself most earth friendly and publishing its standards for eco friendliness, the brand made instant enemies of mainstream brands that had been greenwashing the market with their organic cottons and bamboo products.

The ecogear clothing uses 100% recycled fibres from preconsumer cotton clippings and recycled water bottles. Its process uses no bleach and other toxic chemicals and dyes commonly found in clothing today. The fabric process takes advantage of colors from the 1st life cotton clippings and uses the least amount of water and energy to produce. To reduce the carbon emissions from travel miles that a typical piece of clothing goes through, all ecogear products are made in Toronto Canada, within a 15 km radius.

Ecogear the company has also set itself up to work for the better of the environment.In abiding with its corporate mantra of planet,people and animals, ecogear has partnered itself with environmental groups that are fighting for conservation.
