About this user
I stand righteous and saved before God. I have broken every law that God has ever given. I deserve the very depths of Hell for my sins against a holy and infinite God. In me there is no virtue and no merit. Yet am I going to Heaven. Why? Based on the virtue and merit of another: Jesus Christ, my Lord. Grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone.
"Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness." (1 John 3:4)
"The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God." (Galatians 5:19-21)
"All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one." (Romans 3:12)
"They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them." (Romans 1:29-32)
"But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur..." (Revelation 21:8)
"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)
"Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight..." (Psalm 51:4)
"...all our righteous acts are like filthy rags..." (Isaiah 64:6)
"...no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again." (John 3:3)
"Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)
"Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord." (Acts 3:19)
"You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly...God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:6,8)
"Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already." (John 3:18)
"He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9)
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God." (Ephesians 2:8)
"And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace." (Romans 11:6)
"What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?" (Romans 6:1-2)
"...unless you repent, you too will all perish." (Luke 13:3)
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
"For certain men...have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord." (Jude 1:4)
"Whoever says to the guilty, 'You are innocent'--peoples will curse him and nations denounce him." (Proverbs 24:24)
"Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid." (Proverbs 12:1)
"Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith..." (2 Corinthians 13:5)
"There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." (Proverbs 14:12)

"For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12)
"Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says." (James 1:22)
