Placido is fantastic singing Don Jose in the plenitude of his voice. Also great was Carlos kleiber conducting.

WTF with this production! Florez singing to Gilda and not to Maddalena???!?!? And the hands of Florez touching her after that??
I agree that this is not the best role for Florez, but it's allways a pleasure the way he treats every note gently.
