Film maker Evan Green is the founder of the Red Dragons Conservation Team and the winner of multiple awards for his work in rain forest preservation and environmentalism and for his film "The Green Clean" at the Palo Alto Greenlight Film Festival.
Due to his strong sense of environmental and social stewardship Evan has branched out beyond environmentalism to produce this brief film about controversial California Measure 8. Measure 8 would amend the California constitution to exclude certain people from receiving the legal benefits and rights granted by the government to married couples. Under proposition 8 only a select group would have access to these rights and benefits. These benefits include tax codes, inheritance law, health insurance, adoption and next of kin rights. Such discrimination is unconstitutional, immoral, and sets a dangerous precedent for the future.
