@jeffly1500 ; yes true but the pilot chose flaps 10 or 15 on this take off, 747's can happily takeoff on flaps 10 and not 20.
the less flaps = less drag = longer takeoff run but allows more speed for harsh pullup.
More Flaps= More drag = more lift = slower climbout rate.
