I find the concept of religion fascinating,but also quite disturbing as how it has done some things for people, but how there is an awful and quite disturbing side to it. Countless stories of child abuse, cults, ,misuse of power, extortion and violence carried out upon non believers and people of other faiths has changed my opinion dramatically. does this answer you question? If i may be so bold, what was the experience like between you and your parents when you began to reject their faith and sectarian principles?

Sorry it took me a while to reply, To answer your question i have researched and read into atheism and religion on several occasions, not extremely deep, but enough to answer questions. With every form of religion, i always noticed there were significant gaps in their belief systems, particularly when it comes to proving the existence of their single omnipotent being. the explanation i always seem to get, whether it is in writing or verbal form, seems to be a ruse or a form of misguidance, they use the environment around themselves as evidence, which to me has no substance. on other difficult issues, such as same sex marriage or someone preferring the same sex is met with that is not the way god wants it, how do you know?

t go the fact that someone would not believe in a singular, all powerful
entity. I don't mind at all that you ask questions, i lack people who ask
