Yes it was....apparently, not sure if this is true, but I heard that Jerry was singing at a some social club and a mafia guy asked Jerry to sing a song to his mother and Jerry did not sing the song. From that point on the Mob supported Frank and helped him with his career.......Jerry is amazing.
