Rayzed started out with two guys wanting to learn how to play "parallel universe" by the red hot chilli peppers after they saw "live at slane castle". Every week, ray and zed hang out to play random songs with their cheap starter guitars. Then the original compositions started coming out. And before everyone learned that Megan fox is hot, Ray and zed (later on became rayzed for very obvious reasons) got invited by the motherhumbuckers to open for them together with 2buckchuck. The gig never happened thanks to the lovely management of what was then called club riaa. So just to vent off everyone's frustrations, a studio was booked in secret studios with motherhumbuckers to jam the night away. Yap still decided to come through just to hang out with us. Later that night, he was playing drums in a song called "yo". Marco came in to the picture with 2 boxes of really tasty grilled mussels with cheese and rock salt... And he did manage to learn how to play a lot of our songs just for gits and shiggles. Then the neighbors started complaining about the noise.
Rayzed is composed of 4 oddly unique yet strangely similar drinking buddies. We were brought together by food, alchohol (i mean come on, let's face it), cheap thrills, shallow humor, and an occassional good music. The question on what their sound is can be best answered by finding out the individual member's influences. You could say that their common ground generally revolves around blues, rock n' roll, funk, soul, rnb, and pop. As any artist would agree, it is genuinely difficult to put definitions on what you can or can not do. The best way to experience our music is to hear it live.
