Forget all the rest - The Marvelettes were are the greatest group EVER! I can't recall their making a bad record and they deserved a lot better recognition. The Supremes were good, but this lot were better! Signed, a British 60's girl group fanatic.

Anyone would be on a loser trying to make a version of a Marvelettes record, possibly the greatest female group of all time!

Superb version! I fell in love with it the first time I heard it and have just picked up a copy on ebay for a fraction of the listed price, so I'm one happy Soul fan!

My mate Pat Allen introduced me to this way back in 1982 and it blew my mind! By a total freak of nature, I mamaged to pick one up for £8 a few weeks later and I'm still counting my blessings! I can't recall the last time I saw one for sale

HI Elizabeth. It wasn't me who found it! As I said in my posting, finding it on Youtube was the first time I had ever heard it! You really need to contact artoldies, the person who uploaded it.

This guy had such an incredible voice and this is my fave record of his. Great upload!

Have had this on disc for years on the flip side to "Two Of A Kind", but have never listened to it. Many thanks for opening my eyes...and my record collection!

Great group and a great song. This was actually the flip to "And That Reminds Me" on Loma, although I'm not sure it was the flip on the locally-released Toy label (was that a Texas label?)

Non, je pense que non. En effet, je ne connais qu'une disque qu'elle a registree sur le label Veep (je crois que c'est ce que vous vouliez dire). Normalement on la trouve sur le label Sue.

I don't think think it was either of them. The fact that it was written by Curtis Mayfield and was released on his Mayfield label in 1963 by the Fascinations leads me to believe their version came first. It's not a bad version by the Fascinations, but I still prefer either the Orlons o...

Great track! There's another version of this as well. It's just as good and a bit more danceable, but I've never found out who it's by. Someone put it on tape for me years ago, but there were no details. Does anybody have any idea?

I'm far from being a Country fan - I'm actually a collector of rare and obscure 60's and 70's Soul - but this track, apart from being my late Dad's fave record, has some of the best lyrics ever recorded! Pure class! Thanks for the upload!
